1:00PM - The White Hat

Powered by frontman Ben Cocchiaro’s intelligent lyrics and expert fingerpicking, The White Hat plays roots music like it’s never been played before. Sometimes a solo act, other times playing with a rotating cast of musicians, every show is different, every blues and ballad re-imagined in real time. Described as “folk music in the voice of savage cool,” The White Hat is a folk remedy for your average blues getup, and this one’s not going down easy.

2:00PM - Hannah Bingman

Hannah Bingman is a singer-songwriter hailing from Beaver Springs, Pennsylvania. She picked up the guitar at age thirteen and soon after began penning her own songs. Recently graduated with a degree in music management , she continues to develop a following throughout the east coast performing at festivals, clubs, and coffeehouses. Bingman has three albums under her belt and a wealth of performance experience. She continues to capture listeners with her guitar abilities as well as her lyrical prowess, gaining opening slots for notable acts such as Kaki King, Michael Glabicki (of Rusted Root), Jeffrey Gaines, and Christine Lavin. Most recently Hannah was awarded the top prize for the 2006 Susquehanna Folk Music Society Songwriting Contest.

Voxology is Kevin Neidig, Les Vonderlin, and Bob Arbogast. Kevin Neidig and Les Vonderlin front this award-winning Americana trio based in Central Pennsylvania. Neidig and Vonderlin have been performing together for fifteen years and Voxology celebrated their fourth anniversary while performing for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah. Voxology has had the opportunity to open shows form the Legendary Doc Watson, Peter Rowan and his Texas Trio, and the Grammy award winning Alison Brown Quartet, the renowned folk artist Tom Paxton and singer/songwriter Lori McKenna. They have been featured at music and arts festivals in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Arkansas, Virginia, West Virginia and Utah. They have produced three recordings, a self-titled debut CD Voxology, under the covers and their most recent release, Someday Soon. Each project has received accolades from critics and other musicians alike. Windham Hill recording artist Doyle Dykes told them to "keep writing, playing and singing ... You've been entrusted with a wonderful gift!"

   

 

4:00PM - The Goose Creek Boys

 

The Goose Creek Boys are Tom Haney (vocals & guitar), Dan Hardy (vocals & mandolin), Dale Hardy (Lead Singer), Cleason Martin (vocals and upright bass), and Henry Emrich (vocals and guitar). They have quickly become a favorite gospel and bluegrass band in the area.  Their hot fluid style of picking combined with harmonious talent for singing makes for an awesome sound.  With performances at special community events, fairs and festivals, and always open to new venues, the Goose Creek Boys are a unique blend of talent with an encouraging message for any gathering.  With songs ranging from toe-tapping upbeat tunes to heart-searching ballads, their music reaches out and touches the listener.
